Housed in the Park Tower on North Michigan Avenue, The Park Hyatt Hotel features 203 guestrooms as well as meeting/function space, health club, spa, and a luxurious restaurant. The hotel is based on a very modern, eastern aesthetic that combines futurist technology with hand-crafted artistry. The design incorporates millwork fabricated in Turkey and hand-woven carpets in the lobby and Ballroom. Additionally, over $30,000 in fossils complement the hotel’s art program, which is anchored by a modernist classic Richter painting acquired by the Pritzker family. The guestroom baths feature sliding custom doors allowing dramatic views of the lake or the Chicago skyline.
