When the west tower of the hotel was demolished to make way for a new airport terminal, shared services and amenities were consolidated into the remaining east tower. Starting with the addition of an exhibit hall and pool deck, the operation of the hotel continued throughout construction. Our scope encompassed demolition and reconstruction of the lobby, coffee bar, retail area, restaurant, bar, administrative offices, restrooms and guest suites. Additions included a junior ballroom, meeting rooms and boardrooms.
Renovations included the grand ballroom, meeting rooms, prefunction and Presidential suites. The façade and porte-cochere were balanced with brick, cast stone, metal panels, signage and lighting.
